State Legislative Advocacy
We advocate for positive policy change.
Each summer and fall, the Housing Alliance engages in a process to set our state legislative agenda for the upcoming session. We work together with members to determine our shared priorities and part of that process involves members bringing proposals to the Housing Alliance for consideration for both our priority and support agendas.
The State Legislative Committee is currently considering proposals for the State Legislative Agenda. The Housing Alliance Board of Directors will vote on the Committee's final recommendation in September. Check back here in the fall to view the adopted agenda.
About the Committee
The State Legislative Committee is comprised of 31 Housing Alliance members from across the state who together have a depth of housing and policy experience that represents the spectrum of affordable housing stakeholders. Committee members apply for membership and are approved by the Board of Directors.
